Having no idea that this award existed due to my isolation from other bloggers, I was summoned to receive this calling. The award is created by Okoto Enigma to help bloggers and as it seems, to link bloggers of different niche together which is quite a fantastic way of expanding the community to reach more bloggers that still remain unknown .

Back to the topic, I would like to express my gratitude for Amelia from A Girl & Her Anime for the nomination as it’s a real pleasure to participate in events/awards like this. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

  • Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  • List the rules.
  • Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  • Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well.
  • Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.
  • You have to nominate 10 – 20 people.
  • Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog.
  • Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question.
  • Share a link to your best post(s)

3 Things About Myself:

I am an ambivert.

No, it’s not a rare kind of personality disorder. If you haven’t heard of it, think of something like a mutual point between extrovert and introvert. I could be pretty engaged into things like unplanned trip, movie-going and even some outdoor party with a group of friends. But, at the same time, I also enjoy my alone time of watching anime, movies, editing videos, writing blogs, reading novels and .. you know how long the list can go on. And I believe that most people are like that, not the extreme stay-at-home 24 hours a day or the vice versa. It’s sort of a balance between social life and personal one, just nice-nice.

I enjoy editing videos. ( which is fun )

Gaming requires different types of strategies for various situations, especially RPG but you have no idea how video-editing is much, much more fun compared to it. That is, if you have something particular you want to compile together and no one else can do it for you. It’s something that I use to express my creativity, because I’m quite interested in cinematography despite my major in a seemingly unrelated subject. Combining that passion in the chance to be able to direct my mini film, with the blend of anime, my channel was founded a while ago and I’ve enjoyed this hobby ever since.

I enjoy good stories.

I mean, who doesn’t? A movie, a song and some simple sentences can bring out the best of one and pulls the listener a little closer to embrace how one is feeling at the moment. This is also one of the reason I started blogging, to enter a world of stories.

Replying to Amelia’s Questions:

You’re sitting down to write a new blog post. What snacks/drinks do you have on hand?

*takes a sips of tea* So, yeah. I would prefer drinking warm tea, green tea in particular when blogging because it gives a sense of warmth and comfort. I normally avoid having snacks as it would disturb me from focusing and get my hand too oily and uncomfortable to continue typing. I do listen to some Japanese music, especially Aimer’s and RADWIMPS’ sometimes, with a preference to bittersweet songs like literally every songs from Natsume Yuujinchou.

If you could be an animal, what animal would you be and why?

A very interesting question. I would actually prefer one that can be playful and deadly serious depending on situation. But, since I’m not good in zoology, I think I would go with giraffe because of the resemblance in height, and its spiritual symbolism in the ability to prepare for both the good and bad. ( I don’t look down on others tho )

Congratulations! You’ve enrolled in U.A. High School! What’s your Quirk?

I would choose the ability to let anyone slip into their best/worst memories with a slap in their face ( left side for the best memories ). This probably the most creative and useful quirks I can ever think of. One, it can force the villains to face their darkest fear inside, depending on which side you slap. Two, it can bring out the best of them/inspire the allies to unravel their potential and passion they never knew was possible. Once per day only, though.

What anime are you looking forward to the most this year?

I think many great anime will be released this year but I have no idea what they are going to be just yet. So, for now, it’s The Promised Neverland Season 2. ( such a great horror anime ) For this season, it’s Haikyuu!!: To The Top!

What inspired you to start blogging?

To inspire others. I believe that to be able to inspire and be inspired because of a quote, an anime or everyday lessons that we didn’t realise is the most beautiful thing there is. It’s the most valuable currency we have, and the one I’m willing to protect.

Sharing my 3 best posts

.. that I think is quite meaningful. The first would be a post on how these 10 quotes, however meaningless they seems, carries the stories behind the person who spoke them. These are genuine words with real feelings radiated out of the characters, or the voice actors portraying them in this case, to make those words much more impactful.

You can check it here. 5 anime that I truly enjoyed with tears and laughs here and my top 10 recommendation of 10 Anime on Love and Memory.

I couldn’t manage to reach out to 10 people which is about a quarter of my current followers and that I’ve not been that active lately so I’ve chosen 3 bloggers instead that I think you guys should check out:

7mononoke from Anime Rants that is currently on hiatus, but the author did some great analyses on anime characters, rants on how thing should/shouldn’t be and reviews.

Keni from Crackerzheads Anime Blog that covers some seasonal anime, manga/anime recommendations and has quite a fond on Kimi no Na Wa.

ThatRandomEditor from ThatRandomEditor’s Anime Blog with a lot of thoughts and feelings to share, and to be embraced through his use of words.

I do hope this doesn’t come across as a rude act, nominating without really consenting whether you guys ( the selected three ) would want to take part in it or not. If you’ve been nominated by others or too busy for this, then it would be perfectly fine to skip this. But, if you’re free and feel like doing it, then:

  1. Do you have any unusual habit(s) while writing a blog?
  2. Which anime/movie character do you want to choose as your best pal, why?
  3. In the world of isekai, what kind of ability would you choose after reincarcinating?
  4. Can you dance?
  5. What does anime mean to you?

Have fun answering! *insert evil laugh*

End notes

So, that’s a wrap up for this Mystery Blogger Award tag and thank you, Amelia again for the nomination. I guess I’ve been spilling a lot more info about myself than I normally does but anyway, this was quite fun.

Alright, I’ll see you guys on my next reviews of an overpowered hero that is .. overly cautious which I rated 9/10. Yes. It’s that good.
