I’m late, again. In case you’re wondering about my hiatus, I’ve actually been busy adapting to online assessment and preparing finals for the past months. I was planning to make a few more posts before taking a leave, but things pile up one by one and well, here we are. So, back to topic, here’s my schedule for this fall, with the theme this time around on Hyouka‘s Oreki, quarantine style.

Watched:
Re:Zero 2nd Season Part 1: I was utterly surprised and amazed by how a sequel to a story of a character that just repeats between living and dying can be so, so mesmerizing.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy: An overwhelmingly overpowered demon that fights for the sake of peace AND mushroom gratin, by the same studio that brought you BOFURI and My Next Life as a Villainess.
The God of High School: The fight scenes. The animation. THE ANIMATION.
Swort Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Part 2: The supposingly final ending for the franchise that gave rise to isekai genre lover, before they move on to fight aliens. For real.
My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected.: And they live happily ever after..
Deca-dence: Never judge an anime by its poster, or synopsis. Being an original, it was quite an enjoyable ride.
The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED: Batman and Robin, the anime.
Fruits Basket 2nd Season: If I were to describe how precious Fruits Basket is, and how touchingly beautiful their stories are, I would say it’s—moving.
Appare-Ranman!: Another original anime that has blended adventure with cars and wild west quite well, definitely a great one to enjoy if you need a change of taste.

Watching:
Haikyuu!! To The Top 2nd Cour: YESSSSSS.
Fire Force 2nd Season: Fii-eyah.
Jujustsu Kaisen: First episode totally got me curious and hyped—the fight scenes animated by MAPPA, the stunning opening, the seemingly kind yet powerful main character and the demon-infested world—that made me wondered, just how far can the MC go and how many can he save?
I’m standing on 1,000,000 lives: Generic isekai of the season.
Talentless Nana: My Hero Academia: Among Us.

Plan to Watch:
The Day I Became a God: From the creators and script writer that made Angel Beats!, Clannad: After Story, Little Busters!: Refrain, Charlotte and much much more melancholic stories.
Higurashi: When They Cry (2020): It’s quite rare to see the ‘dementia’, horror and thriller genre added into a seemingly peaceful slice of life anime, I’m intrigued to find out what will happen.
DanMachi 3rd Season: Dungeon and dragons picking up girls in dungeon.
Attack on Titan: The Final Season: We fight back.

The Airing Dates:
- I’m Standing on 1,000,000 Lives: 9 October (2nd episode)
- Haikyuu!! To The Top 2nd Cour: 10 October (2nd episode)
- Jujutsu Kaisen: 10 October (2nd episode)
- DanMachi 3rd Season: 10 October (2nd episode)
- The Day I Became a God: 11 October 2020
- Talentless Nana: 11 October 2020 (2nd episode)
- Higurashi: When They Cry (2020): 15 October (3rd episode)
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season: 7 December

End notes:
So, that’s pretty much every seasonal anime that I plan to watch for this fall. There are also a few challenges and award nominations pending, and a few posts that I’ve in my mind with some of them being ReZero with its take on “the value of life”, and a theory that ties Baccano! and Durara!!. With that being said, I’ll see you again soon.
Stay safe!
