So, here’s a new challenge!

Can you pass this with ease, or will you crumble down on your knees first?

There are only three rules:

3 Rules:

#1 Share your favourite stories—movies/books/anime/manga/drama/songs—by classifying them on these seven colours’ traits:

  • red: passionate, exciting, invigorating
  • blue: peaceful, calming
  • pink: romantic, caring
  • orange: warm, motivating
  • black: mysterious, thrilling
  • green: fresh, unexpected
  • white: random

#2 Send this challenge invitation to at least one of your friends. Let them fear your superiority, as you—decide their fate.

#3 Link back to the original post here! And, enjoy!

Note: It’s always recommended for you to thank (or link back to) the people who nominated you, but if you think there’s already an unbreakable bond between you and the challengers, then feel free to drop the courtesy. Without further ado, let’s begin!

RED

Run with the Wind

Besides Haikyuu!! that already has its fair share of attention, Run With the Wind is another sports anime that is able to bring the contrast between passion and talent to the screen. A goal that seems impossible to reach, a promise that sounds impossible to keep, and an ensemble of characters that don’t know when to quit—watching every moment of this is adrenaline-pumping.

BLUE

Violet Evergarden

A story that revolves around the Victorian setting of post-war, it’s oddly peaceful to see how the folks, and especially, Violet Evergarden moves on to have a normal life. Brought up as an emotionless human that only serves her purpose of killing enemies in war, it’s both touching and mesmerizing to see how much she can change, and learn the different shapes of love, that comes in delivering letters.

PINK

March Comes in Like a Lion (2nd Season)

Although it doesn’t have romance, but March Comes In Like A Lion has succeeded in capturing the depth of familial bond, how love is infectious, how hardships bear results, how determination carries one forward, how powerful words are, how complex feelings can be, and most importantly—how tears are what our heart speaks, when we cannot describe how much we’ve been hurt.

ORANGE

A Place Further Than The Universe

We always yearn to do something different, life-changing things perhaps, but most of the times there are too many burden and concerns that we cannot afford to ditch. What if, say, you can experience the feelings of leaving everything behind, to let yourself be immersed in a place you’ve never heard of, to be surrounded by your friends enjoying the same moment, to actually live?

Well, I hereby invite you to A Place Further Than The Universe.

BLACK

Terror in Resonance

I’m not a fan of horror, or thriller.

But Terror in Resonance, blends the feelings of suspense and excitement in a surprising way that it resonates with the theme itself—to be free. And, with the characters’ interaction that captivatingly intertwine with each other, it’s a story that is just too damn worthwhile to watch.

Death Parade

Yes, you can talk about more than one story within one colour.

Death Parade, on the other hand, dances around different stories; with the drapes of realistic interaction and touch on life, it managed to lit up the most emotionless character to be the most emotional one.

GREEN

Mob Psycho 100 (II)

Before watching Mob Psycho 100, I didn’t believe that a story basing on only one word, could exist. That word is kindness. Not about a kind character that’s loved and adored by everyone, but a character that choose to be kind, and help people, his friends, and his family. The second season, in particular, has surpassed my expectation and just shoots to the top in my respect, and adore of it.

WHITE

Barakamon

It’s fun to watch. Like, really, terribly, criminally entertaining.
