A few months have passed just like that. Sometimes, time flies quite quick, doesn’t it?
Watched:

Spy x Family: Nothing short of comedy and romance, and family. We don’t turn our back on our family here.
Rising of Shield Hero Season 2: A bit on the downside, characters are great, but can’t say the same for the plot. Also, it feels like the villain didn’t receive the ending he deserves. The entire arc feels hanging, and quite not well executed.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic: Great concluding arc for anime, if this is the end. It reinforces the entire motive of the story and makes it better.
Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2: Captivating. Cute. Chill.
Aharen Is Indecipherable: Utterly ridiculous and cliche comedy. Didn’t like it, but couldn’t hate it either.
I’m Quitting Heroing: The surprising underdog of the season. The art and animation weren’t top notch, but the plot and the story structure are certainly well executed.
Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sinθ: The only rom-com of the season that manages to make me, the audience, flustered of how they depict the romance with all the fluttery colors.
Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 3: Good finale to the anime that has spun over 3 seasons. All’s well that ends well.

Plan to Watch:

Overlord IV: The overwhelming power. The madness. He returns. The overlord.
Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun: The continued installment of Made in Abyss, which reminded me of how horrifying and warming it can be at times.
The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2: Handled by different animation production company, the drawing art seems different, but hopefully the essence of the story (the lightheartedness of breezing through daily lives, the fun interaction between characters, and the core demon lord) remains.
Airing Dates:

July 5: Overlord IV
July 6: Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun
July 14: The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2
To Update

Maybe I’m out of the anime loop for a while now, as it seems that there’s nothing much that I’m expecting from this season (except the return of Spy x Family in October, I believe). But, who knows? As time goes on, I might pick up some unexpected anime. And if any of them is interesting, I’d definitely share it here.
On a side note, I’m entering my final degree year and is working on my final year project at the moment, having to deal with assignments from other courses, while making time for my gf, so I’m juggling between each of them and spending efforts to not neglect either.
With that being said, it is my goal to post at least once a month.
So… yeah, I guess we’ll see then.
Thanks for your support, and thanks for reading!
