And we’re back to a new season! The last season was a blast with an underdog anime that really shone, and though there wasn’t much anime on my watch list but each and every one of them was certainly entertaining in their own way. Nevertheless, I am HYPED for the sequels releasing this season!

Watched:

tired but fun

Spy x Family Part 2: A heartwarming, cute, and relaxing sequel with more bonding (and clashes) of new characters observed by Anya.

Mob Psycho 100 III: A great bittersweet ending to an amazing series that centered around kindness as a power of its own.

Bocchi the Rock!: Vivid depiction of emotions, feelings and all-around social anxiety of Bocchi who yearns to make everyone go crazy over her guitar skills.

Watching:

gotta savor every moment

My Hero Academia 6th Season: The final showdown that was not finalized.

Eminence in Shadow: Another odd charm of overpowered main character.

Plan to Watch:

snacks for later

Bungou Stray Dogs 4th Season: If there’s any anime out there with the blend of well-crafted gore, thriller, hilarious, dramatic, action, yet heart-wrenching stories, it’s this. It’s back. Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia.

By the Grace of the Gods Season 2: My iyashikei (recently learned that it’s a sub-SoL genre, for relaxing, calming and nostalgic atmospheres) choice of the season.

In/Spectre Season 2: The curious case of youkai and human.

BOFURI Season 2: The greatest defender in the history of anime is back.

Airing Dates:

soon

Jan 4: Bungou Stray Dogs 4th Season (already aired!)

Jan 8: By the Grace of the Gods Season 2

Jan 9: In/Spectre Season 2

Jan 11: BOFURI Season 2

End Notes

2022 was hectic. It was fun. Engaging. Surprising. Challenging. Full of ups and downs. It was a year that I’d definitely learnt a lot than the previous year, cause I made tons of mistakes and one by one, grew from it.

If there’s one takeaway from last year, mine would be “to do it even if you’re unsure or afraid of the outcome”. Do it regardless of what you think the outcome might be; if it turns out fine, then you built up your courage even just a little, otherwise, if it doesn’t, even better because now your fear of rejection has been thinned out by a slice.

Once you cross the line of doing it—even when your heart is beating hard trying to delay it—you’d be surprised how fearless you sometimes can be. So, if you could sum up 2022 with one unique takeaway of yours, what would it be?

Thanks for reading.
